You can sharpen your critical thinking skills, and challenge the way your view yourself and how your business operates in the 11-day modular Advanced Management and Leadership programme at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM).
You will take a step back from day-to-day tasks to focus on new knowledge to adapt, thrive and succeed, and boost your leadership skills and impact. The 11 days in the classroom are spread over three modules, and there are learning opportunities, support and activities before and after the programme too. You can choose three of the following modules: The Challenge of Leadership, Make Strategy Work, Rules for Effective Decision-Making and Finance for Senior Managers.
You’ll return to your workplace re-energised, and ready to tackle new challenges.

Discover which expert faculty lead this programme
During the RSM Diploma Programme in General management you will learn from RSM professors Dr Meir Shemla, Dr Merieke Stevens, Dr Hannes Leroy and Dr Arjen Mulder. Occasionally we may substitute other faculty members according to the content of the programme and their availability.
Tom J.M. Mom is a professor of Strategic Growth and Implementation in the department of Strategic Management & Entrepreneurship of RSM Erasmus University Rotterdam and was a visiting scholar at the University of Geneva at the chair for Strategic Management. He is also the academic director of RSM’s Executive MBA, and director of the Erasmus Executive Programme in Strategic Management. His research interests include new business development & corporate growth, ambidexterity, strategic renewal, and strategy execution. Tom teaches courses on Strategy, Corporate Entrepreneurship, and Implementation to PhD, executive, and master students.Besides academic research and teaching, Tom is active in research and advisory projects for companies and governments in areas like new business development, strategic growth, innovation, and strategy execution.
Justin Jansen is professor of corporate entrepreneurship at RSM. His award-winning research and publications provide new perspectives into the roles of leadership, start-ups, organisational ambidexterity, corporate entrepreneurship, and new developments to improve long-term viability and performance. Justin is scientific director of the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship, and is on the editorial board of several academic publications. He is also a consultant, speaker, and advisor to various companies and government agencies. He has developed management training in how organisations can identify and implement new growth paths, strategic leadership, and combine innovation and operational excellence. Moreover, he has advised governmental agencies on the improvement of the entrepreneurial climate in the Netherlands and on spurring the number of fast-growing organizations.
Dirk van Dierendonck is professor of Human Resource Management at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM). His areas of expertise include human resource management, leadership and leadership development, positive organizational scholarship, and measurement development. Professor van Dierendonck is the associate editor of the International Journal of Servant Leadership. He is academic director of the Erasmus Centre for Human Resource Excellence and co-founder of the Erasmus Center for Leadership Studies. He is co-founder and co-organiser of the New Directions in Leadership Research conference organised by Duke University in the UK, Erasmus University in the Netherlands, INSEAD in France, and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in the USA.
Eline Peeters is a senior trainer and executive coach with a broad expertise in the fields of leadership, personal effectiveness and communication. She believes that development starts with consciousness and is nurtured by experience. That’s why she finds focus on both awareness and experimentation essential. Eline facilitates and challenges people to expand their comfort zone in matters of leadership by using appreciative inquiry and curiosity. She searches for what drives behavior by exploring convictions and values.
RSM runs modules throughout the year. The start date depends on the choice of your first module. You can choose in which order you complete the modules.
