Developing the entrepreneurial skills of 1,300 students at Erasmus University Rotterdam

As an entrepreneurship centre committed to developing people’s entrepreneurial competencies, we are thrilled to be partof theEntrepreneurship course at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University again; it will be provided forno less than 1,300second year (International) Business Administration students!
Over the course of a fewmonths, a total of 260student teams will work on developing their startup ideas from scratch. While guided by tutors and lecturers from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship provides the students with the content and practical tips supporting them in their entrepreneurship process and through our network of valuable coaches by experienced entrepreneurs.

We are actively looking for entrepreneurswho are motivated to share their knowledge and who have at least three years of experience since (co-)founding their company. In this way, they can offer the student teams tangible tips & tricks throughout their validation processes and – if relevant – connect them to othervaluable people from their network.
Participating entrepreneurs need to be available for two days, either on Tuesdays (20 April and 18 May) or Fridays (23 April and 21 May) infour–hour timeslots,either in the morning (09:00-13:00) or afternoon (13:00-17:00).Coaches will receive afixed compensation, which you can also choose to donate to the Hummingbird Fund instead. This fund will invest the total amount of donated fees to the winning startup team to kickstart the further development of their idea.
It is great to see the growing interest in entrepreneurship education and we are motivated to invest our time, network and expertise in order to ensure a great experience for all teams. We wish the students good luck and look forward to their entrepreneurial solutions!
To sum up, the 2020-2021Entrepreneurship courseoffers a great opportunity for established entrepreneurs to inspire and impact the next generation, to concretely contribute to the development of their ideas and to give back to the entrepreneurial community in and around Rotterdam.
